Our First Christmas

We celebrated our own little family Christmas last night, because we are going to be out of town on Christmas and Christmas Eve. Brent smoked prime rib (yummy) and we had a delicious dinner. The most fun was opening the presents though. I didn't think that Caroline would even be able to really take part in it, but I was wrong! She absolutely loved grabbing the paper and tearing it. She thought it was so funny, and so did we. We took pictures of her unwrapping every present and holding it up (I think I am getting a little out of control with the picture taking). What Caroline liked most was trying to eat the wrapping paper (she tries to eat everything these days). She had so much fun opening her presents that afterward she fell right asleep. It was so much fun to have our first family Christmas together. It reminded us how fortunate we are and just how important family is. We can't wait to celebrate this week with everyone!!!!

Caroline's cousins had some of the cutest onesies made for her, and this is one of them. I just wanted to share my own little Pi Phi angel with everybody. I can't wait to show her these pictures right before she goes through rush. THANKS Boogie and Lizzy for helping Caroline represent.

Caroline's Christmas Dress

Caroline's Grandma and Grandaddy bought her a Christmas dress and pink sparkly mary janes. It is sooooo cute, and I just had to take some pictures of it. It is so funny because everytime we put her in a frilly dress she just absolutely loves it. She loves to play with the hem of her dress. I guess eventually we will have to teach her not to lift her dress up, but for right now it sure is precious.

We are very excited about spending our first family Christmas together, and we are trying to get in the Christmas spirit. This is our first Christmas tree!!!! Caroline picked it out at the tree lot and decorated all by herself...sounds crazy I know, but she is also fluent in three languages and enjoys baking in her spare time. Oops, there I go with the bragging again...ha ha

What a big girl!!! This is a pic of Caroline eating her first real food and man is it messy (I know it is a lovely picture of me). We can't believe she is growing up so fast. It seems like she is doing new things everyday.

Now that our little angel is getting to be such a big girl, she gets to play with all of her toys. This is her doorway jumper and she loves it. She laughs out loud when she plays in it and it is so cute.

Isn't her shirt cute. Martha had it made, along with a few others, for Caroline. Drew has a shirt that says, "Caroline's bodyguard". They are too precious for words!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! Our first Thanksgiving as a family was wonderful!! The food was fabulous, but the company was even better! We got to spend time with both sides of our family and Caroline had so much fun seeing everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!! November 5th was Brent's birthday and Caroline took pictures in her party hat and steelers outfit for him!

Caroline will be 4 months old tomorrow. She went to the doctor for her 4 month check-up today and everything was perfect. However, she does weigh 16.5 lbs. these days. Man that little sweetheart likes to eat! I guess it runs in the family. She is starting to laugh and make all kinds of hilarious noises. She is getting really close to sitting up and loves playing with all of her toys. Brent and I just recently came back from Mexico. We got married on the beach there and had an amazing trip, but we definitely missed our little angel. She stayed with both sets of grandparents and had the best time!!!

Our Sweet Caroline turned three months old on Saturday!! Time sure flies when your having fun!! She is so responsive now and she smiles and laughs. It is so much fun!!

Mary Caroline Jennings was born on July 25th at 2:20 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. She is the most amazing thing that has ever happened in our lives and we are so thankful for our little angel!!!

Brent and I are expecting our sweet little baby girl on July 25th. I am creating this blog in order to provide easy access for our friends and family to stories and pictures of Caroline. Please pray for us as we embark on this new and exciting journey in our lives.
